Ford Fiesta Sales Biggest Contributor 2011 - Throughout 2011 and the All New Ford Fiesta became the biggest contributor to sales of PT Ford Motor Indonesia (FMI) with number 7005 units. In retail, the total sales of Ford's own during 2011 reached 15,988 units, up 94 percent compared to the year 2010.
"Last year was a year of transformation for Ford Indonesia, triggered by the success of the All New Fiesta. Popularity of these cars continued to rise throughout the archipelago and attract many new customers Ford," Good said Susanto, Managing Director of FMI.
FMI also reported, retal Ford Ranger sales up 28 percent compared to the year 2010 to 6881 units. While Ford Everest grows better than the year 2010 yesterday by 28 percent to 1639 units. Focus is also reportedly jumped 53 percent or 127 units sold.
Ford estimates that achieving a record year in 2011 will continue this year, driven by the launch of All New Ranger and all-new Fiesta as part of Ford's plans to introduce eight new models in ASEAN until the mid-decade.
